Set up a stunning announcement banner
Grab customers attention, share important updates, or highlight special offers with a bold announcement banner.
Instructions
- Go to your Per Diem merchant dashboard and navigate to the Marketing section in the side menu.
- From the Marketing dropdown, select Banners.
- Click the Create a Banner button to start setting up a new announcement banner.
- Choose the banner type: Announcement.
- Add your message.
- Set the display settings, including the start and end date.
- Select the location(s) where the banner should appear.
- If you have multiple banners, the most recent one will be displayed first.
- Select the banner style that fits your needs.
- If adding an image banner, upload an image from your device and adjust the size accordingly.
- If you want to link the banner to a specific page or offer, add the link in the designated field.
- You can link your announcement banner to:
- External URL – Link to any external webpage.
- Item – Link to any item in the app.
- Store Credit Plan – Select from available credit plans in the app.
- Subscription Plan – Choose from available subscription plans.
- App Page – Link to any page within the app.
- Use the preview option to see how the banner looks before publishing.
- Click Crop if adjustments are needed.
- Click Save to finalize the banner.
- If uploading a video banner, add the video link and a button link.
- Preview the video banner and click Save once satisfied.

1. Log in to Your Merchant Dashboard
Go to your Per Diem merchant dashboard and navigate to the Marketing section in the side menu.
2. Create a Banner
From the Marketing dropdown, select Banners. Click the Create a Banner button to start setting up a new announcement banner.
3. Fill in Banner Details
- Choose the banner type: Announcement.
- Add your message.
- Set the display settings, including the start and end date.
- Select the location(s) where the banner should appear.
4. Choose Banner Style
- If you have multiple banners, the most recent one will be displayed first.
- Select the banner style that fits your needs.
If adding an image banner, upload an image from your device and adjust the size accordingly.
5. Add a Link
You can link your announcement banner to various destinations:
- External URL – Link to any external webpage.
- Item – Link to any item in the app.
- Store Credit Plan – Select from available credit plans in the app.
- Subscription Plan – Choose from available subscription plans.
- App Page – Link to any page within the app.
6. Preview and Publish
- Use the preview option to see how the banner looks before publishing.
- Click Crop if adjustments are needed.
- Click Save to finalize the banner.
- If uploading a video banner, add the video link and a button link.
- Preview the video banner and click Save once satisfied.
